We have a position available in our Telford Service Centre for an experienced Calibration Engineer. This will involve Calibration/validation/Repair of electrical / electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Calibration/validation/repair of electrical / electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy.Both Keysight and non-Keysight products are serviced. Work is performed at the Telford Service Centre. Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment.Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.Understand customers’ requirements through face to face and written communication.Travel to customer sites <25% performing calibrations (On-site).
Qualifications
- Education and technical knowledge within sector and role
- Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician with relevant experience in calibration
- IT knowledge (Windows, Office)
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Confident at answering customer questions
- Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions
- Ability to work independently and proactive attitude
- Able to obtain UK security clearance
