About The Role
Our Livestock Selection Team is responsible for breeding and acquiring bulls for the Sire Proving Scheme to ensure LIC maintains a strong market position and a steady stream of outstanding Daughter Proven Bulls. As Sire Proving Scheme Administrator you will part of a team who play a critical and dynamic role in an area of herd improvement and supporting our sales group.
In this role you will be responsible for the administration of the Sire Proving Scheme including dealing with contracts, farmer inquiries and any other administration as required by the team. With a 'can do' attitude, your focus will be to deliver quality outcomes, and you'll have excellent attention to detail. About You
You'll enjoy working within a team of dedicated individuals and be able to deliver a professional approach when working with a wide array of customers. Our ideal candidate will confidently demonstrate:
- Sound knowledge of dairy farming and the NZ Dairy industry
- A background in administration, clerical or related office position
- Strong customer focus
- Good verbal and written communication
- Empathy with our SPS farmers when managing their contracts
- Problem solving skills and the ability to understand and adapt business systems
- Competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to quickly pick up our LIC Database and SAP system.
- Strong attention to detail
- Documentation of procedures - SOP (standard operating procedures) standards
