We're looking for Skilled Operatives to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Norwich

Location: Whitlingham, Norwich

Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Skilled Operative, you'll be working within the Anglian Water team, supporting them in delivering a variety of civil engineering activities on both water and water recycling sites.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Attend site SHE briefings, inductions and toolbox talks as required including completing point of work risk assessments
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and inspection procedures to ensure effective delivery
• Placing and finishing of concrete and other specialist products
• Operations of mechanical plant (excavator, roller and dumper)
• Construction of underground chambers, both PCC, RC and brickwork
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

This role of Skilled Operative is great for you if you hold:

• Knowledge and experience within the water industry
• CSCS or EUSR card
• Pipe laying, drainage/ deep drainage experience
• Experience in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering/ Construction industry
• Good understanding of legislative and corporate SHEQ/ legal requirements
• Good IT skills to use work-based apps on a phone/ tablet
• Full driving licence
• Confined space training/ willingness to complete the training
