We’re looking for a Social Media Producer to join our Bauer team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to take on a new role, working on brand building and content creation for Bauer’s recently launched Rayo app. As this is a new role that has been created within a new team, you’ll have the exciting chance to make it your own.
Reporting to the Digital Editor, you’ll be responsible for forward planning, content creation, looking after our content calendar and posting on our social platforms (with a focus on creating engaging short-form digital content for the Rayo TikTok channel).
As Rayo sits across the entire Bauer network, you’ll be working with digital and production teams across the different radio brands, so the ability to collaborate and be proactive is essential. You’ll also work closely with our presenters across the Bauer network, so the ability to work with talent and give clear instructions is an important part of this role.
This role is best suited to someone looking to take their next step in their career and wanting to further develop their social media skillset.
What you’ll be doing…
- Working closely with Digital Editor to plan content and help with day-to-day running of social accounts and deputise for them on occasion.
- Working across all of Rayo’s social platforms, with a focus on creating engaging short-form digital content for the Rayo TikTok channel.
- Monitoring and analysing social media trends, audience behaviours, and platform updates to keep Rayo’s social media presence current and effective.
- Examining existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that can innovate and improve our social media output
- Acting as a brand guardian for Rayo
- Collaborating across Bauer network, working with the wider team on larger initiatives and projects
- Assisting on shoots and content days – including music events, presenter shoots and high-profile guest interviews.
- Managing Rayo’s social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
What you’ll bring...
- An experienced social media professional with a track record of producing content that is optimised for different social platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms and experience in planning and scheduling content across them.
- Ability to design social thumbnails and graphics using Adobe Photoshop.
- Confident social copywriter who can write in the Rayo tone of voice.
- Creative thinking, and ability to quickly adapt to changing trends and audience needs.
- Experience working with analytics tools to track performance and inform content decisions.
- Comfortable shooting and filming content on mobile, as well as confident in directing and briefing presenters, guests, and other team members where necessary; and editing this content on Adobe Premier Pro or similar.
- Proactivity and project management skills – Rayo works across all brands, so you need to be able to keep the plates spinning! We’re looking for someone who is organised, can meet deadlines and lead on multiple social campaigns at once.
- A passion for music, entertainment, podcasts and our brands.
- Flexibility to work out of hours occasionally – understanding that social media is reactive and time-sensitive.
