As our team is expanding, we have an exciting opportunity for a Software Asset Management Analyst to join as part of our Software Asset management Team in Milton Keynes on an 18-month fixed term contract.
The data from the Software Asset Management (SAM) Tool is used to drive value, provide audit evidence and influence strategic decisions throughout the Business and IT community.

The difference you’ll make:
- Ensuring high levels of data integrity and accuracy are maintained in the SAM Tool – Flexera
- Supporting all Software License Renewals with software inventory and usage data
- Driving performance of the Flexera Platform
- Working with internal customers and consumers of the SAM Tool content to ensure clear and consistent understanding of the data set
- Developing metrics of software and asset inventory coverage
- Working with colleagues and peers to make Flexera the golden source of MI reporting and Software inventory
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience in a Software Asset Management Tool (SAM), preferably Flexera
- An excellent ability to build working relationships with key stakeholders
- Good understanding of technology stacks typically used in large organisations
- Excellent data analysis skills and use of data analysis toolsets
- Experience with a wide set of data manipulation or BI tools
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Experience of working in a Banking environment
- Excellent communication skills and evidence of being an effective team player
- Knowledge in working with Cloud environments (Public and Private)
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
What else you need to know:
This 18-month fixed term role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

1st Stage – Technical Interview – this will a 30min technical interview with one of the team
2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.
- We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
