We currently have an opportunity within our Property and Infrastructure Disputes team for a 0-4 year PQE Construction Disputes lawyer based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with options for flexible working.
The role is to join one of our five Contentious Construction teams, which are part of the firm’s wider Commercial Disputes and Regulation division, and form the Property and Infrastructure Disputes practice group.
The team has a busy and specialist practice across the UK construction and engineering sector, with a particular focus on infrastructure, energy, and civil engineering. The team’s clients include those in the following sectors: power/utilities, rail, renewables, commercial and residential development, leisure, hotels, food and drink, education, health and defence.
The team represents major UK employer, contractor, and sub-contractor clients in complex and high-quality dispute work based in Scotland, England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and handles adjudication, mediation, arbitration, expert determination and court work across the UK, although primarily in the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
