Job Description: Sonographer/ Ultrasound Radiographer

Location: Cardiff

Position: General Sonographer

Full/ Part Time Locum : 6 Months to Ongoing

Qualifications:

• UK Qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC Registration

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the NHS (private sector experience alone is insufficient) Broad general ultrasound experience, including but not limited to:

• Lumps and bumps
• Gynaecology
• Abdominal
• Renal
• Small parts
• Testes

Responsibilities:

• Conducting ultrasound examinations with 20-minute appointment slots
• Providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient comfort during procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
• Collaborating with the medical team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes

Working Hours:

• Ideal working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM: Monday to Friday
• However can be flexible for ad Hoc (must have weekdays)
