The Role: Working as part of the Kitchen Team, this position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to assist in the management of the section operations, as well as a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness and following H&S protocol.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in ordering, stock management, and maintaining supplier relations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring duties are effectively delegated and completed.
- Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards, adhering to FSMS policies.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure dishes meet quality, allergen, and presentation standards.
- Handle customer requirements and feedback professionally.
- Assist in menu development using fresh ingredients and minimizing waste.
- Support training and motivation of the kitchen team.
Essentials
Personal Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar role at a high-end restaurant/ hotel.
- Committed to being part of a driven team that is aiming to achieve quality and high standards in the kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, ingredients, and modern trends
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment requiring long hours and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Shift Patterns
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7 per week
