The Timetabling, Attendance Monitoring, Exams and Graduations team provides support for the publication of academic timetables and exam schedules, the monitoring of student attendance, organising the University Graduation ceremonies and the production and verification of associated certificates and transcripts.
About the role
The Student Engagement & Timetabling Support role is an introductory level position and we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and efficient individual. The team offers a flexible, customer-focused, professional administrative service to ensure the smooth running of our student engagement, timetabling and graduations functions. This is an interesting and varied role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the whole team, undertaking a wide range of duties, with the main focus being on student engagement.
About you
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, good communication skills and a passion for learning. You will have good IT skills and an enthusiasm for learning new systems. We are looking for someone that can deal with a variety of situations, including wide-ranging enquiries and taking a positive approach to problem solving. In addition to this, possess demonstrable experience of the use of personal judgement to escalate areas of concern, of working independently and within a role that requires effective planning, organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
You will have a positive approach to their work, a desire to undertake continuous self-improvement and to proactively acquire new knowledge.
