As a member of the Student Journey Service, you will be part of University Library and Study Skills; a department that provides a wide range of services, support, and guidance to students. About the role
As a Study Skills Support Adviser, you will have a key role in delivering study skills services across all faculties within the University. You will be an important interface between the Library and Study Skills Service and University students and staff; providing a range of study skills support through both group and one to one skills advice; developing and improving resources to support the delivery of skills support; proactively engaging customers to increase engagement with the study skills support provision. Therefore, we are seeking an excellent communicator, who has experience of working collaboratively to achieve strategic service aims.
What you can bring
You will have both a graduate, or equivalent, qualification and a training or teaching qualification. In addition to this you will demonstrate experience of delivering high quality study skills support to a wide variety of customers.
You will enjoy developing services in support of University and Service strategic objectives, ensuring the delivery of an excellent student experience and learner-centred service in-line with our shared Service values.
You will be experienced and creative in your application of a range of digital technologies to deliver innovative learning support and enhance study skills to support student achievement.
