About The Job
The post-holder will lead and manage the assessment of a portfolio of subjects within Group 1 of the Diploma Programme (Studies in Language and Literature). The IB offers certification in over 70 different languages each year. The exact portfolio of subjects will reflect the language profile of the successful applicant. The successful applicant will be required to ensure the reliability, accuracy and fairness of assessment in the portfolio of subjects they are responsible for. They will manage international teams of senior examiners and be responsible for all assessment related activities of these teams including examination paper authoring, standardization and grade award. The post holder will also work closely with other departments of the IB particularly those within the Education Office and will represent the IB at international conferences and events.
