Supply Chain Engineering Specialist in the Supply Chain Engineering Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
Summary
Lotus is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be proficient in data analysis, have an understanding of manufacturing processes, and be able to optimize A to B and B to C logistics flows and warehouse operations, including third party logistics providers (3PL).
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Plan For Every Part (PFEP) master data and alignment to internal (SAP) and external (3PL) business systems/platforms.
- Translate corporate-level supply chain strategies into facility and operation specific solutions.
- Calculate internal and external costs that contribute to the Total Acquisition Cost (TCA) and support supplier selection processes, during resourcing and new product introduction phases.
- Work in conjunction with procurement and programme teams, to proactively identify and address supply chain risks and drive continuous improvement/cost reduction activities.
- Conduct cost and scenario analysis and develop robust business cases and execution plans for review.
What You'll Bring
- Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills and awareness
- Manufacturing or engineering environment experience, in a supply chain focused role
- Ability to constructively challenge and drive outcomes, using data as a basis for decisions
- Experience of SAP MM module and Logistics Execution Systems or similar
- Data focused and an analytical critical thinker and problem-solver
