Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a  Supply Chain Engineering Specialist in the Supply Chain Engineering Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

Summary

Lotus is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Engineering Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be proficient in data analysis, have an understanding of manufacturing processes, and be able to optimize A to B and B to C logistics flows and warehouse operations, including third party logistics providers (3PL).

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain Plan For Every Part (PFEP) master data and alignment to internal (SAP) and external (3PL) business systems/platforms.
• Translate corporate-level supply chain strategies into facility and operation specific solutions.
• Calculate internal and external costs that contribute to the Total Acquisition Cost (TCA) and support supplier selection processes, during resourcing and new product introduction phases.
• Work in conjunction with procurement and programme teams, to proactively identify and address supply chain risks and drive continuous improvement/cost reduction activities.
• Conduct cost and scenario analysis and develop robust business cases and execution plans for review.
  
  

 

What You'll Bring

• Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills and awareness
• Manufacturing or engineering environment experience, in a supply chain focused role
• Ability to constructively challenge and drive outcomes, using data as a basis for decisions
• Experience of SAP MM module and Logistics Execution Systems or similar
• Data focused and an analytical critical thinker and problem-solver
