As such, it's crucial that we understand and manage the risks faced throughout our end-to-end supply chain effectively. To support our efforts, we're looking for dedicated professionals to join our growing global supplier risk management team (SRM).
We are hiring 2 Group Supplier Risk Managers at Flutter, where you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating risks related to third-party suppliers. You will be responsible for developing risk management frameworks, conducting due diligence, and ensuring our suppliers align with industry regulations and internal standards. This role will require collaboration across multiple departments, including procurement, compliance, legal, and IT. You will safeguard the company's operations and reputation while helping to deliver on our strategic goals, including our Positive Impact Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier Risk Management
Assist in the development of SRM initiatives, such as supporting ESG agenda, advancing our Positive Impact Plan, and developing Exit Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
- Manage the implementation of Flutter’s supplier risk management framework and related processes.
- Conduct and coordinate supplier prioritisation of Flutter’s supplier base to classify suppliers based on their criticality and risk exposure.
- Conduct and maintain supplier risk control assessments and supplier risk profiles.
- Coordinate ongoing risk monitoring and mitigation activities with suppliers, business, and cross-functional teams across Flutter and its subsidiaries.
Collaboration & Collaborator Engagement
- Take a collaborative business-partnered approach to achieving business objectives with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Build positive relationships with collaborators across Flutter's subsidiaries to drive Procurement Transformation and embed standard ways of working in accordance with the SRM Framework.
- Act as the main point of contact for blocking issues at the operational level.
Reporting
- Monitor and report on the global compliance with the SRM Policy, including providing timely and accurate critical metrics.
- Demonstrate existing or develop targeted material to deliver actionable risk reporting to Flutter business and cross-functional teams as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
Offer mentorship and training to staff regarding supplier risk management, encouraging a proactive supplier risk management culture throughout Flutter.
- Ensure the Flutter Entertainment India (FEI) SRM team is equipped to deliver on their objectives, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation of information for applicable internal/external audits and external reporting disclosures.
- Provide valuable insights to collaborators within the organisation.
- Help the business monitor emerging/horizon risks, bringing up any critical risks to advanced collaborators and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Keep updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to supplier risk management.
- Participate in supplier risk committees/working groups.
- Support the Head of Supplier Risk Management and Group SRM Senior Managers as required on any broader Risk and Assurance initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, supplier/vendor/third-party management, or a related role.
- Experience working in a global organisation, with cross-cultural and cross-regional collaboration.
- A good understanding of the principles of risk management, control, and assurance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external collaborators.
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise tasks.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Travel and flexibility to work across time zones may be required and may increase over time as the business evolves.
