This role will focus on:

The SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising the SIOP process across the organisation. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive business efficiency, align supply chain capabilities with market demands, and ensure effective resource utilisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• lead the SIOP process, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer requirements, and operational capabilities.
• Develop short to long term strategies for inventory management, demand planning, and production scheduling to improve service levels and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to create accurate demand forecasts.
• Analyse market trends, historical data, and customer feedback to drive data-driven forecasting decisions.
• Partner with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure production plans meet demand requirements efficiently.
• Facilitate SIOP meetings, presenting data and insights to drive consensus and decision-making.
• Develop, agree and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the SIOP process.
• Provide regular reports to the Senor Leadership Team (SLT), highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver training and coaching across the business on the roles and responsibilities within the SIOP process.
• Identify opportunities to enhance SIOP processes through technology, tools, and best practices.
• Drive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, reduce lead times, and optimise inventory levels.
  
  

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Professionally qualified. APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and forecasting.
• Advanced in Excel and BI data analytics.
• Proficiency in ERP and SIOP-related tools (e.g. Microsoft AX / D365, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).
