Are you an experienced engineering leader passionate about driving innovation and delivering complex projects within the Defence and Aerospace sectors? We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineering Manager based in Maidenhead to lead, inspire, and deliver excellence across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering activities to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure a systematic approach aligned with ISO 15288 and ISO 24748 processes.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively, monitor progress, and assure governance compliance.
• Drive resource planning, risk management, and technical assurance across all lifecycle phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, representing the business with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and team development.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven leadership of engineering teams (10+ engineers) across multidisciplinary domains.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Systems Engineering lifecycle and development models.
• Experience in Defence/Aerospace industries, delivering regulated solutions.
• Expertise in tools for configuration management, traceability, and metrics generation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Command & Control systems, sensors, communications, and encryption.
• Strategic planning and technical leadership, with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel within the UK for customer and supplier meetings.
• Valid driving license.
• Significant on-site presence required.
