Systems Engineer - Testing Software in Hardware with extensive years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the defence industry and expertise in systems engineering, specific experience with testing software in hardware verification, project management, and Documentation . We are looking for a Engineer who p romote s a mindset of attention to detail, communication, and teamwork within the re team.
Responsibilities
- Provide Testing software in Hardware support to future capabilities.
- Supporting software and Hardware Testing Including: Integration Testing, Configuration Control & Authoring Testing Procedures.
- Testing hardware components up to and including Factory Acceptance Testing .
- Full requirements management (creation, update, validation, verification), including suppliers’ integration and DOORS experience,
- Documentation: Produce detailed technical documentation, supporting the development of engineering requirements and associated documentation.
- Manage planning and work package management.
- Reviewing, documentation - Subsystems, customer, work packages.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex technical problems and generate effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in systems engineering, preferably within the defence or aerospace industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience with project management practices and tools, including schedule management, risk analysis, and resource allocation
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD, DO-178C, and DO-254, is desirable
- Eligibility for security clearance (dependent on project requirements)
