Carlton le Willows Academy has an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated teacher to join our hugely successful maths department team on a full time permanent basis to start as soon as possible. The Class of 2024 achieved a progress score of +0.48. 78% of students achieved a grade 4, 63% a grade 5, with 22% achieving grade 7 or higher. This is the direct result of the team’s commitment to supporting pupils to help them achieve their very best in this most vital of subjects. It is no coincidence that Maths A Level is our most popular subject Post-16.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring pupils in their care. This post is suitable for both ECTs looking to take their first steps in teaching or for experienced teachers looking to develop and further their career.

In return we can offer you the chance to work with, and learn from, a 17-strong team. We invest in our staff by ensuring continuous CPD with the chance to access a coaching programme and also the opportunity to work with lead teachers and subject directors as part of Delta Academies Trust. The maths department also ensures pupils benefit from small group intervention sessions and a comprehensive enrichment programme. The atmosphere in the department is extremely positive and this is reflected in the pupils’ attitude towards the subject.
