An exciting opportunity has arisen within our friendly and welcoming school for a Teaching Assistant apprentice. You will join a very knowledgeable and skillful team of staff who withhold the ethos of our very popular primary school.

• This role will be working in the classroom with children of primary age, assisting the teacher with resources and working with small groups of children to help them learn
• You may also be helping a child with Special Educational Needs in class
• No two days are the same, and these roles will help you build the skills and experience you need for a successful career working in Primary Education

Other Essential Requirements

• Use initiative in all matters relating to the conduct and behaviour of individuals, groups of pupils and whole classes; the correct use and care of materials by individual and small groups of pupils, the safety, mobility (if required) and hygiene and well being of the pupils
• Responsibility to support and adhere to the school safeguarding policies and procedures, at all times
• Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
• All training will be delivered via blended learning within the workplace, online and through master classes
• An assessor will visit the apprentice every 4-6 weeks and set work via our CRM system, Aptem
  
  

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30 pm with hour for lunch. Term time only.
