What We Do
We drive adoption and usage for Unreal Engine and provide our customers with the tools and support to make amazing visual projects in the Unreal Engine.
What You'll Do
As an Epic Games Technical Account Manager, you will be accountable for Epic’s technical relationship with the world’s most influential game developers. You will proactively communicate with our customers to provide guidance and accept feedback to drive internal prioritization.
In this role, you will
- Represent Epic as you regularly engage with game developers across a variety of communication channels - written, virtual, and in-person
- Track and strengthen Epic’s relationship with influential game developers
- Resolve technical issues and customer complaints efficiently and professionally
- Work with Epic’s product and engineering teams to mutually craft platform priorities and roadmaps, supported directly by game developer feedback and requests
- Identify opportunities where game developers and Epic can mutually benefit from deeper relationships
- Improve gaps in process and communication, both within Epic and externally
What We're Looking For
- Passion for games, the games industry, and game technology
- Inclusive personality that feels comfortable in a customer-facing role
- Strong self-starting skills to enthusiastically address ambiguous problems
- Technical proficiency to understand, categorize, and prioritize needs
- Experience in game development, game production, or other related areas
- Experience in shipping console, PC, or mobile games
- Experience in digital storefronts and/or online game services is a plus
- Experience in Unreal Engine 5 or other current engines is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
