Job Description

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Fund Oversight in Glasgow to support EPFL’s (Evelyn Partners Fund Solutions) oversight of its ACD-only Fund Sponsors and Delegate Service Partners (delegates). To primarily monitor the performance of delegates’ Portfolio Valuation (NAV Production) and Financial Reporting services and support the oversight of Transfer Agency services, to ensure they perform within all relevant laws, regulations and agreed service levels.

As Technical Specialist, Third Party Oversight, your responsibilities will include among others

  • Support daily operations, ensuring tasks are documented and completed on time, and resolve issues and queries from delegates, escalating as necessary.
  • Document, periodically review, and update departmental procedures.
  • Collaborate with the EPFL Relationship Management Team to manage dealings with EPFL Sponsors and funds professionally and timely.
  • Keep the Senior Manager and EPFL Leadership Team informed of all initiatives, risks, issues, threats, opportunities, plans, and activities.
  • Ensure prompt and competent delivery of Portfolio Valuation and Financial Reporting services by delegates; support Transfer Agency oversight services when needed.
  • Ensure fair treatment of sponsors and end-investors, maintain transparent interactions with all external entities, thoroughly investigate breaches, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor compliance with EPFL Outsourcing and Delegation policies, and provide input to the Relationship Management & Business Development teams.
  • Manage records and data according to Group policy, analyze management information to identify risks, issues, opportunities, and trends, and apply decision-making and escalation processes consistently.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have

  • Extensive experience of working with a Portfolio Valuations and/or Financial Reporting teams.
  • Strong understanding of an ACD’s oversight responsibilities
  • Good knowledge of key industry trends and best practice within the Authorised Funds sector.
  • Experience of operating within the FCA regulatory framework, with a working knowledge and understanding of current legislation and future regulatory developments pertaining to Authorised Funds.

Desired

  • Relevant professional qualification(s) desirable, e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate
