Technology Risk Analyst

InterQuest are supporting a well-established specialist lender with the search for a Risk Analyst to join their 2nd LOD function and focus on Technology and Cyber risks.

This individual will be responsible for implementing processes and controls as well as engaging in audit and testing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive 2nd Line Risk oversight for technology functions, ensuring effective assessment and challenge across key areas such as risk profiling, identification, control design and testing, risk scenarios, governance, risk appetite, and reporting.
• Utilise your expertise in technology processes, controls, and control testing to identify and implement improvements, strengthening the overall control environment.
• Provide valuable insights into technology risks, contributing to Risk governance reports for Technology and Cyber Risk forums, and executive and board-level risk reports.
• Lead engagements with Technology change programs, maintaining oversight of project delivery risks and the ongoing management of operational risks.
• Ensure assurance over critical technology risks and controls, maintaining a robust risk landscape.

Essential Background:

• Experience in a similar 2LOD Risk role, ideally with a background in specialist lending
• Expertise in Technology Risk and governance
• Ability to provide challenge
• Demonstrated experience of Control testing and design
