What our 2024/2025 trainees have to say about the ITT programme?
Nikita has chosen to pursue a career in education, inspired by family members who are already dedicated teachers. Following in their footsteps, Nikita is now training to become a primary school teacher.
"Embarking on my PGCE journey has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The challenges have sharpened my skills, the support from my Year 4 team has been invaluable, and each day brings new opportunities to grow as an educator. For anyone considering this path, know that the rewards are immense—both in personal growth and the ability to shape future generations. If you're passionate about making a difference, this is the adventure you've been waiting for!"
Jibran, a former Langley Academy student, previously worked as an accountant. He is now bringing his expertise in finance to the classroom, applying his skills to inspire and educate students as a maths teacher.
“It is such a rewarding experience. Connections with students last with you even when they leave school and especially with such a supportive system in place, you as a trainee will be in total control of what you want to do on the course.”
“Training with a school rather than a university approach provides me with more tailored support and consistency with classes and colleagues. Working in the school I studied in has also really motivated me “
