Position

The Training Coordinator will report to the Training and Development Manager and support the training function by coordinating training initiatives within the organisation.

You will play a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and efficient training process for employees, ultimately contributing to the overall success and development of our employees.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of training programs, including scheduling of training sessions, booking venues and coordinating with the relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate with participants and trainers to co-ordinate logistics and provide course information
  • Maintain training records and track employee attendance and completion of training programs on Sulmara systems
  • Track the validity of training certification by conducing regular reviews of records held on Sulmara systems
  • Supporting the development of training materials, including formatting documents, creating presentations, and organising training resources.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for Graduates, including coordinating new hire onboarding and training sessions
  • Maintain necessary systems with new joiner or leaver details
  • Support the Training and Development Manager to keep all Training policies and processes up to date on our IMS
  • Track and process training department expense claims
  • Assist in evaluating training programs and gathering feedback from participants
  • Provide administrative support for the company’s offshore performance appraisal scheme
  • Adhere strictly to the Company's procedures and policies.

Requirements

Skills Requirements

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to achieve department goals
  • Flexibility to accommodate the changing needs of the business.

Experience, Competency And Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a learning and development or human resource role
  • Previous experience coordinating training programs and associated logistics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with learning management systems (LMS) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred but not essential
  • Certification in Learning and Development is preferred but not essential.
