Successful candidates will join a state-of-the-art facility and be supporting the team conducting testing and research on the latest technologies and innovations in the industry. You will work alongside our infrastructure and Cybersecurity professionals to ensure that the UK’s world class Telecoms infrastructure grows in a resilient and secure manner underpinning growth in other industry sectors.
As a trusted and independent national capability, UKTL interacts with standards bodies, Academia, and Government Departments as well as Communications Service Providers and equipment vendors.
Successful Applicants must be able to commute to the UKTL offices in Birmingham with the possibility of hybrid working.

About You
Key ResponsibilitiesWork with UKTL leadership and key stakeholders to define an achievable training and upskilling roadmap, focusing on delivering short, medium and long-term value to UKTL and the wider UK telecoms security industryManage the training resources and training schedule for the new UKTL location specific to external training events and training partners, providing the front door for UKTL training Work with key internal and external stakeholders to design, create and deliver specialised, bespoke and high value training material/ courses that will raise the level of skills across UK Telecoms Partner with specialised training providers to enable a regular cadence of relevant training courses onsite at UKTL Ensure that the expert UKTL engineering teams have a clear pathway for continuous improvement and upskillingAlongside the Sustainable Business Director, build relationships with Universities, Schools and regional groups to enable regular outreach engagements and security related events Create interest and passion in security through constant innovation of the Skills & Training Catalogue including onsite and outreach events
