We have an exciting opportunity for an experience Treasury Manager to join our team in Brentwood. The primary responsibility of this role is managing the Treasury Operations of the Group including global liquidity cash management, Foreign Exchange Risk Management, ensuring accurate & timely reporting of Treasury activities.
ABOUT YOU
As the Treasury Manager, you will have a wealth of experience working within fast paced and diverse businesses, delivering a first-class service to the senior management teams. You will drive forward enhancements, improvements & strategies, supporting the Director of Treasury in key internal & external stakeholder relationships.
Required skills and experience:
- Previous Corporate Treasury experience, with a proven track record of delivering best practice
- Hold an accounting or treasury qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AMCT)
- Strong communication and the ability to engage a senior management audience
- Advanced excel skills to deliver robust analytical reports
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail, problem-solving and the ability to influence change in the organisation
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Key activities:
- Manage the Group’s liquidity and global cash management operations
- Lead new investment initiatives to maximise yield with approved counterparties
- Manage the Group’s global hedging programme to reduce FX exposures, proposing new hedging techniques in line with policy
- Manage the Group’s monthly Multilateral Netting Cycle ensuring inter-company balances are minimised through settlement on a regular basis
- Manage inter-co funding in line with tax and transfer pricing requirements
- Maintain banking relationships with Group relationship banks
- Prepare monthly treasury reports for senior management
- Implement a weekly cash flow forecast for the Group
- Lead system projects to enhance automation and increase operational efficiency
- Provide mentoring and leadership to the Front Office and Back Office Treasury Assistants
- Business partnering with Group Finance, Group Tax, CoSec and regional finance teams
- Support ad-hoc projects - strategic, regulatory and audits
