Position: User Access Management Junior Analyst

The Job
This role is primarily responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that user access is properly managed and monitored across all systems and applications, ensuring compliance against AVEVA’s policies and standards.
This position will suit an individual with a passion for Identity and Access Management (IAM) who is interested in progressing their career in Security. IAM is a fast-growing field that offers various opportunities to further your experience and learn as our Identity and Access Management capability matures.
Role and responsibilities:
- Perform regular audits and reviews of IAM Policy including user access reviews, identifying any discrepancies or potential security risks and securing remediation plans.
- Assure the management of the identity lifecycle as part of the joiner, mover and leaver process.
- Supporting and advising on the user access provisioning and deprovisioning processes, user access reviews and recertification, ensuring timely and accurate assignment and removal of access rights.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IAM processes and procedures.
- Support the Security team to investigate security incidents related to user access management.
- Support the updating of IAM policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist with user training and awareness IAM Policy and Standards and security best practices.
- Support compliance efforts by providing required IAM-related documentation and evidence for audits and assessments.
- Stay up to date on emerging IAM trends, technologies, and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Report on KPIs / metrics related to IAM.

- Understanding of IAM Policy, best practices and principles.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify security risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Be able to effectively prioritise, manage competing deadlines, and respond to changing priorities.
- Ability to understand and produce high quality reporting and analysis.
The following non-essential skills and qualifications are highly desirable for the role and will help set candidates apart.
- Knowledge & experience of working with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, NERCIP.
- 2 years or more of experience in an Identity and Access Management focused role.
- Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies, such as IGA and PAM solutions.
- Experience of using Power BI / Tableau and knowledge of SQL.
- Currently holds or working towards relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.

Hybrid working
