Job Purpose Summary
To manage and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) at CASOne and Kiltimagh, and this will include the implementation, management, and maintenance of the WMS system in the other CMS locations including the subsidiary businesses. This role will lead the implementation of WMS improvements in line with business requirements. This will involve engagement with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that each project is successfully implemented (from testing through to full implementation). The role will also support the development of the system to support new business requirements. Additionally the role will support the analysis, development and testing in all areas of the WMS technology. You will support the use of the appropriate processes, methods and standards such that there is best fit and alignment with the company’s SAP system.

Role Responsibilities
- Utilise specialist knowledge of the company WMS, and be the key contact for the day to day system maintenance, SAP alignment and troubleshooting.
- To provide BAU first line operational support to the Operations teams across all CMS locations and subsidiaries for all day to day and advanced WMS related site requests.
- Lead the implementation, and then the management and maintenance of the WMS system in the other CMS locations including the subsidiary businesses.
- Routine WMS maintenance.
- Work closely with the WMS provider, support developing methods to reduce the cost of external consultation for future maintenance and system developments.
- Lead in the overall implementation, execution, control, completion and financial reporting of specific projects ensuring consistency with project management objectives, company strategy, commitments and goals
- Support the creation of project plans and their communication to key leadership stakeholders
- Work towards process standardisation with unique system's knowledge, and being the business gate-keeper for Change requests and customisations.
- Support the business continuity (knowledge, back up, SIT and UAT testing, system updates and communications etc..)
- Undertake system testing and manage SIT and UAT to gain an agreed end product
- Support defining the fit-gap analysis between the WMS solution and the existing company operational landscape.
- Promoting full realisation of WMS benefits in order to drive productivity in all sites.
- Support the process of turning agreed requirements into WMS and integration configuration and where necessary bespoke developments. This will include physically configuring and loading static and dynamic data to create test and live instances.
- Manage and undertake training and operational preparation followed by a cut-over to the live solution.
- Actively support the Operations teams during Go-live and transition support before finally handing over to the management team

Skills & Personal Attributes
- Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects through to completion and to manage competing priorities would be highly desirable.
- Understanding of Inbound, Outbound and Reverse Logistics is essential.
- Understanding of warehouse operations (goods receiving, pick, pack & despatch)
- Previous experience of programming languages most commonly and typically used within modern warehouse management systems would be highly desirable.
- Strong IT systems knowledge including Microsoft Office, WMS & SAP systems
- Passion and interest for warehouse management systems and warehouse operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data and provide meaningful information
- Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluency in English is required) with the ability to form, develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
