Position Overview
To strengthen our team in UK, we are looking for a:
Warehouse Operative
Monday to Friday - rotating weekly shift pattern of
07:00 - 15:00
08:00 - 16:00
08:30 - 16:30

Mission
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for the safe and efficient control of all finished goods, to ensure that Puratos Ltd are in a position at all times to supply their customers according to agreed timescales and expectations with high quality goods, accurately assembled to meet the customer’s order.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring orders are picked timely to ensure deliveries are made to customers as per schedule, with correct documentation and in good condition.
- Ensure vehicles are unloaded / loaded in a timely manner.
- Ensuring production transfer requirements are picked timely and accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with Group procedures on stock control and physical counting. To include implementation and upkeep of FIFO, communicate with the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor and/or Manager to minimize obsolescence and out of date products, investigation of stock discrepancies and remedial action.
- To maintain the warehouse and perimeter to agreed levels of GMP housekeeping.
- To complete deep cleans of the warehouse as per the schedule.
- To ensure all MHE daily checks are carried out.
- To ensure all waste / recycling is processed promptly and in the correct manner.
- Assist Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor and/or Manager and support quarterly inventory counts including year-end count.
- Compliance with the Company’s Quality, HACCP and TACCP systems and Food Hygiene policy
- To promote a safety conscious workplace, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety policy and adherence to current H&S legislation
What We Expect From You
- At least 18 years of age.
- Reach truck fork lift licence
- Experience loading/unloading vehicles
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy and use of computer systems
- At least 1 years’ experience of working within a team in a similar role
- The ability to learn new techniques, and to embrace change with an open mind.
- Highly flexible approach towards work, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities within the warehouse and be self-motivated
