Your role
Are you an expert in banking process risks and tools? Do you like to educate others, encouraging high quality standards? Do you want help us manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients?
We’re looking for a process and quality specialist to:
- be point-of-entry contact for queries about regulations, processes, tools and risk
- organize and conduct training for new tools and processes to improve quality and enablement
- monitor risk reports, flag relevant issues to the team and escalate if necessary
- identify, evaluate and implement mitigation measures for client related risks
- collaborate closely with client advisors, assistants and the desk head, as well as various other internal departments
- improving the quality of assessments and documentation, like pre-checks, alerts, and deficiencies remediation with the desk head, client advisors and assistants
- maintain the quality of client relationships by proactively delivering holistic solutions that address their needs
- identify and propose process improvements, establish a sound risk and efficiency culture within the desk
- provide feedback to ideas, initiatives and process changes related to tools and processes and raise innovative ideas
Your team
You’ll be working with the WM UK Regions in Edinburgh, providing service to our HNW clients. Our team consists of client advisors, assistants and the desk head. As a process and quality specialist, you’ll play an important role in seeing that the team is up to date when it comes to risk, process and tool knowledge. Our combined efforts help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients, through strong partnership at every stage of their journey.

Your expertise
- financial services experience, ideally within a client facing team or dealing with risk topics
- banking related education (apprenticeship, traineeship or a bachelor’s degree)
- excellent knowledge of wealth management offerings, products and processes
- disciplined, with a focus on details and standards
- good written and verbal communication skills
- fluent in English
