As a Witness Liaison Manager you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role responsible for supporting POL witnesses through the process and ensuring BAU colleagues are updated and understand the impact on the Public Inquiry work.

What does this role involve? There are a number of tasks you may have, however the one of the most important is being responsible for delivering support to POL witnesses and ensuring they receive full support including management of related costs; working with our people and communications teams to ensure wider pastoral support is in place; and, where relevant, ensuring employee's external legal advisors are supported with relevant information from POL.

This will be an exciting opportunity for the individual to work within the Post Office's Inquiry Team at a time when are working hard to ensure that the next chapter of POL's history is a bright one.

What you'll need to Succeed

As a Witness Liaison Manager you will understand the Post Office as an organisation and multi-line business- its constitution, structure and the processes which support delivery, and funding, as well as governance requirements. In addition, You will:

• Forging relationships within and influencing stakeholders at all levels across organisations.
• Experience working in a discreet and confidential manner.
• Ability to show empathy and professionalism in handling sensitive requests.
• Organised and consistent approach to managing complex queries.
• Ability to absorb and extract critical information in order to feed back into the program in the most beneficial way.
• Trustworthy and able to balance both detail and ‘big picture’ perspectives.
• Accessible and helpful, with an open inquisitive and critical mind.
