At Argus Fire we offer a limited selection of 1 week work unpaid experience placements for school or college students aged 15-18 years old, in the area local to Stourbridge.

Applications should be submitted via this advert for work experience placements in April - July 2025. Closing date for work experience applications is the 31st January 2025.

We only have a limited number of placements available, so not all requests will be able to be accommodated.

Information about Argus Fire

Argus Fire launched in 1982, is part of the Mitie Group. We are the UK’s class-leading supplier of fire detection and fire protection systems. We design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects through to servicing small standalone products. We currently have over 200 employees and have offices based in Stourbridge (HQ), Manchester and London.

We also offer apprenticeships, and work experience is a great way to get a taste for what an apprenticeship with Argus Fire can look like.

Work experience at Argus Fire would suit someone interested in a career in the construction industry particularly Fire Protection and Detection in pathways including;

Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer

Fire Alarms Design Engineer

Project Management/Engineering

Commercial Management

Sales and Estimating

Servicing and Commissioning Engineers
