Key Responsibilities We have an opportunity in our CMC group for a 12-month placement (Year in industry). We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who would relish the chance to learn from Immunocore’s cutting edge science and corporate growth.
Immunocore Manufacturing and Outsourcing team is a vibrant and busy team, managing manufacturing for all Immunocore’s clinical and commercial programmes. As a growing company there are a number of business process that we are growing out of or need greater control of to manage the business.
The placement student will gain hands on experience in all aspects of outsourced manufacturing operations and will develop key understanding of implementation and embedding of lean operational processes. The placement student will have exposure to product lifecycle from pre-clinical through to commercial manufacturing. They will have the opportunity to work with internal Chemical, Manufacturing and Controls teams as well as working with Immunocore’s outsourced suppliers. The placement student will develop their communications, influencing and project management skills as well as developing technical and commercial understanding of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise, align, build and streamline internal business processes using various PM or data analysis tools within Immunocore Manufacturing and Outsourcing such as:
- Streamline and simplify Data/Document Exchange between suppliers and Immunocore, identifying opportunities for digital and automated solutions
- Build Manufacturing and Outsourcing performance management and measurement system
- Build data management tools to use our data to solve problems. For example being able to align financial spend with project execution
- Contract Management oversight
- International Shipping process
- Develop internal Risk Management Process.
Education & Qualifications
- Would suit student in Biological Sciences with an interest in Business, data management and/or digital solutions
- Ideally have experience in Power BI or other data visualisation tools
