Department Commercial Supply Chain
Key Responsibilities We have an opportunity in our Commercial Supply Chain group for a 12-month placement (Year in industry). We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who would relish the chance to learn from Immunocore’s cutting edge science and corporate growth.
This project will be multifaceted, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, improving accuracy, and increasing visibility throughout the commercial supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve Demand Forecasting: Utilize AI algorithms to accurately predict future demand, thus minimizing overstock and stockouts.
- Enhance Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs by predicting the best times to reorder and the optimal order quantities.
- Streamline Logistics and Transportation: Optimize routes, reduce transportation costs, and improve delivery times using AI-powered solutions.
- Boost Supplier Management: Analyse supplier performance to improve supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Increase Supply Chain Visibility: Provide real-time tracking and transparency of goods throughout the supply chain, from production to final delivery.
- Predict and Prevent Disruptions: Use predictive analytics to foresee and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
Education & Qualifications
A BA undergraduate student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Biological Sciences/Computer Engineering with an interest in Business, data management and/or digital solutions.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an in-person Assessment Centre on 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th March 2025, providing an opportunity to meet current placement students, learn about the role, and socialize with employees.
Placements are expected to begin on 8th September 2025.
