Sheffield Youth Justice Service are recruiting a Youth Justice Officer to join our team.
You will be part of a team of case managers and specialist staff providing the core services of the Youth Justice Service (YJS) including assessment and intervention to reduce reoffending by young people in line with National Standards and the Youth Justice Plan.

The successful candidate will embrace a trauma informed and child first approach to Youth Justice.
They will have knowledge of the issues which impact children & families, and which can lead to engaging in offending behaviour, alongside an understanding of relevant legislation & National Standards.
You will have excellent skills in engaging, and building relationships with children and their families.
You will also develop relationships with key partners across the city providing services to children and their families.
